Caroleena Photography & Visual Arts is owned and operated by Carol Lowbeer of Westbrook, Connecticut. Her work has been featured in many Connecticut venues, restaurants, art galleries and nature sites, including the Audubon Society of Glastonbury.

Carol specializes in nature (particularly coastal) and animal photography, and enjoys enhancing many of her photo with virtual painting effects to bring the feeling of the original moment or subject to her viewers. It gives her particular joy to know her work has touched the heart of others or created enthusiasm, peace or a happy or humorous moment.

Carol was born in Oklahoma, and has lived in seven major cities, including New York, Boston, Seattle and Chicago. She currently lives in coastal Connecticut where she enjoys capturing images of the Connecticut sound, the sea, and its surrounding areas and colors.
